Privacy
This privacy policy explains how Groundspace SAS (“Groundspace”, “we”) may collect and use personal data when you use this website or contact us.
Who we are
The data controller is Groundspace SAS, 3 avenue de l’Europe, 34830 Clapiers, France. You can contact us at info@groundspace.io or on +33 4 11 93 82 38.
What data may we collect?
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- personal identification information that you give us, such as your name, organisation, email address and phone number;
- the content of messages you send us;
- technical information, such as your IP address and browser information (browser name, device, screen resolution).
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide most of the data we collect, for example when you:
- send us a message through the contact form;
- email or phone us;
- meet us at an event and give us your contact details.
Technical information may be collected automatically when you visit the website, for example in server logs, or through cookies or similar technologies (see below).
How do we use your data?
We use your data to:
- answer your enquiry and discuss your requirements;
- keep in touch with you about our products and services, where you have asked us to or where the law allows it;
- operate, secure and improve the website.
The legal basis is your consent, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Who processes your data?
Messages sent through the contact form are processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a service that receives the form and forwards it to us by email. Formspree may process data outside the European Union; such transfers rely on the safeguards provided for by data protection law.
We do not sell your personal data.
How do we store your data?
The website and its logs are hosted by Infomaniak, on servers in Switzerland. Switzerland is recognised by the European Union as providing an adequate level of data protection.
We keep messages and contact details only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any relationship that follows. Logs of connections to and interactions with this website are kept for one year, then deleted automatically.
Marketing
We may send you information about our products and services that we think may interest you. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us.
What are your data protection rights?
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it, free of charge;
- rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erasure of your data, under certain conditions;
- restrict the processing of your data, under certain conditions;
- object to the processing of your data, under certain conditions;
- data portability, under certain conditions;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
We respond to requests within one month. To exercise any of these rights, email info@groundspace.io.
